FYP stinks as usual. Seriously, who will trudge from MSE to SPMS central store and back in typical Singapore weather? -.- Plus other nonsense which I shall not say (referring to my mentor).
Things that made my week:
1) See link above.
2) Meeting Poh Ling in Can A. She finally emerged from her SCI cave! :P
3) Bumping into Meiy at the career fair. :) Hope your FYP's going well...
4) Resolving a potentially disastrous matter. Guess she's much nicer than I thought.
5) Finally learnt to synthesize my beloved and twice deceased PEG-DA. -.-
6) Pulau Ubin with the balas & co. on Sat! ;)
7) L4D again tomorrow! :D
I shall not mention any names, but when somebody tells you something about someone, it is always advisable to take it with a pinch of salt. You may be tempted into assuming that somebody is right, when perhaps someone was never wrong. Everyone can choose who and/or what to believe in, even if your opinions were biased against someone in the first place. Being able to differentiate between lies and the truth, to verify fact from fiction, is something not everyone can be bothered to do. In this case, the effort paid off. :) Oh, and I'm referring to point 4 of course.
Miscommunication is seriously annoying!
One of life's lessons that I learnt on my own (before Angela and Hoki came along :D) in x primary school. Damn ruthless and meritocratic place, guaranteed to turn your kid into a bitter person, and make office politics and emotional blackmail seem like small trivial fry. You'll be amazed at what those children (and certain teachers) are capable of.
Elitism at its peak. EM1 student hanging out with EM2s, and loving it more. Extreme favouritism. Polishing apples in your face. Popularity contests and cliques aplenty. Using your childish wiles to your desire. These are what you should bear grudges for. Such a pity that most kids are like that nowadays...

Finally! The bulglat managed to do something remotely useful. -.-
Thinking back, kinda funny that they found fault and took offence for what I wrote about others, when it is mine to take. 算了吧, 反正大人不记小人过... So, case closed. :)
To prevent such ridiculous crap from happening again, refer to the note on the right.
Maybe I should learn how to use photoshop. However, some things are still glaringly obvious no matter how discreet you try to be. Such as: chio/skinny photo = cui/pui in real life.

I have no idea if the people involved will read this but...
Recently, I discovered something quite amusing. Therefore, I have decided to spell it out in everyone's faces so that the other side of the story (mine) can also be heard.
Honestly speaking, it is damn childish to block and "unfriend" others based on how you interpret what other's have seemingly written. Especially when one is an innocent party (Rajiv). Well, I am quite surprised that you actually bothered to take the effort to make us out to be stalkers with nothing better to do than to skulk your profile. Seriously, I have better people to check out.
I don't want to make any assumptions, but from what I know and have heard, it is unlike him to keep quiet about whatever that has happened.
Correct me if I am wrong, but things between us went downhill after your relationship with a certain Miss X did not work out. I am sure that ignoring us point-blank is a very apt thing to do. However, since you chose not to remain in our social circle, we decided to respect your wishes.
As for the complaint letter in year 2, please note that it was not instigated by me alone. The others were also aware of the contents and had a part to play in the decision too. Unfortunately, I had to be the bad person to send it.
Next, regarding your current relationship, have I once (explicitly) expressed that I am against it, wished you ill, or that it won't work out? I believe not. Just because I made a comment about SPGs, or in general, mixed-racial relationships, you took offence immediately. Kindly remember that you came to my blog to find fault with what I wrote, and I believe I am free to write about whatever I want as long as it is not legally offensive.
Besides, didn't you mistake someone's entry when she wasn't referring to you the last time?
Please think twice about what others have written before jumping to your own conclusions, and hereby prevent unrelated people from being dragged (whether knowingly or not) into a situation that never was.
Yes, I admit that I did inform some friends about your new relationship, as posted on facebook news feed. Since it was announced so openly, it is uncommon to mention such stuff in passing during idle talk. However, I obviously cannot warrant the comments of others, and neither can I control what they say.
I am not trying to paint a picture of being a victim here. I just hate being misunderstood and having to find out about such insulting nonsense from another person when I did not purposely go up to anyone to insult them in the first place.
Also, the thing I don't understand is: after all these incidents, why are we the only ones being pinpointed? If you really want to find fault with the matter, please at least settle it more thoroughly with everyone else instead of just dumping the blame on us alone.

Some extra education is always good. :)
Reading my previous posts left me with the impression that I am a bitter, sarcastic, extremely critical, unpleasant, and pompous know-it-all, who must have a say about everything. I won't deny that it is true to a certain extent, but!
I only blog here when I need to bitch, rant or note down certain important events (sometimes discretely) because honestly, nobody in real life will want to listen. Neither do I want to write about my everyday life cuz it's just so normal and plain boring.
I mean seriously, who will give a damn right? Might as well vent and make myself feel better.
31-12-2009 & 01-01-2010 appeared and vanished in a flash, as if they never existed...
Funny how Christmas and New Year's felt stagnant this time round. Didn't get the festivities, and nobody seemed to be in a particularly hyperactive mood either. I suppose after 22 years, you have been through one too many.
25 December was spent watching Avatar, playing poker and some Xbox 360.
31 December and 1 January were no doubt more enjoyable (fine I give up, let's just share that overly-popular date shall we?), though it consisted mostly of CBD exploration, some place which I hope never to work in.
Was randomly facebook-ing (believe me, I haven't done that in eons) and stumbled upon snippets of lives that I have no part in:
relationships coming and going in a snap; childish people "un-friending" each other because of the nature of how they "fell out"; random "new" information about others, etc.
And that's just the text. Don't get me started on the photos. -.- Quite ironic really. You look at others the same way that they look at you.
Enough pessimism already. Happy 2010! Hopefully the IRs will be open together with a rising economy (*fingers crossed*).
Hidden message to almost fresh grads like myself: Welcome to the rat race suckers! For once, I wish I was a scion born with a silver spoon in me mouth. :(
To end off, forgive me for re-visiting old sitcoms but "The Nanny" is simply too hilarious to miss. :) Besides, it's not like some people are magnanimous enough to let go of the past anyway. I thought only women are petty creatures? Guess not everyone is man enough to have balls. Tsk. May God (or whoever you believe in) bless you poor little dickheads.
