FYP stinks as usual. Seriously, who will trudge from MSE to SPMS central store and back in typical Singapore weather? -.- Plus other nonsense which I shall not say (referring to my mentor).
Things that made my week:
1) See link above.
2) Meeting Poh Ling in Can A. She finally emerged from her SCI cave! :P
3) Bumping into Meiy at the career fair. :) Hope your FYP's going well...
4) Resolving a potentially disastrous matter. Guess she's much nicer than I thought.
5) Finally learnt to synthesize my beloved and twice deceased PEG-DA. -.-
6) Pulau Ubin with the balas & co. on Sat! ;)
7) L4D again tomorrow! :D
I shall not mention any names, but when somebody tells you something about someone, it is always advisable to take it with a pinch of salt. You may be tempted into assuming that somebody is right, when perhaps someone was never wrong. Everyone can choose who and/or what to believe in, even if your opinions were biased against someone in the first place. Being able to differentiate between lies and the truth, to verify fact from fiction, is something not everyone can be bothered to do. In this case, the effort paid off. :) Oh, and I'm referring to point 4 of course.
Miscommunication is seriously annoying!
One of life's lessons that I learnt on my own (before Angela and Hoki came along :D) in x primary school. Damn ruthless and meritocratic place, guaranteed to turn your kid into a bitter person, and make office politics and emotional blackmail seem like small trivial fry. You'll be amazed at what those children (and certain teachers) are capable of.
Elitism at its peak. EM1 student hanging out with EM2s, and loving it more. Extreme favouritism. Polishing apples in your face. Popularity contests and cliques aplenty. Using your childish wiles to your desire. These are what you should bear grudges for. Such a pity that most kids are like that nowadays...
Lover of mooos, polar bears, domo-kun, kapibarasan & sumikko gurashi.
