[Saturday]
everything passed by in a blur.
Unpacking was less of a hassle than I thought, especially when you see the delight on the faces of the gift/souvenir recipients.
Priceless. :)
(Think I went a little overboard with the clothes shopping cuz my wardrobe is on the verge of bursting again. :( Rahhh. Damn you H&M and UNIQLO!)
Slept early for once at 12am. Fatigue can be sustained by bouts of adrenaline rushes, but when the final wave hits you squarely in the face, there is no resistance.
[Sunday]
The next day flew by on the wings of a series of mind-numbing events like uploading the grad trip photos onto Facebook, doing some laundry, etc. Chatted with some friends online before meeting Tang! for dessert-turned-supper. Sent her home at 2am (stupid cockroach! hope you were crushed by the car!) before continuing my Arcane Sanctuary quest, which I could have completed a week ago if not for those latecomers. Grrr. Had to literally tear myself away from the computer at 4am.
Indulging in escapism by engaging in activities that distract you enough to make your mind go blank. All you care about is completing quests, collecting magic items, and destroying whatever that gets in your way.
To put forth an analogy, I think life is like a Goosebumps thriller. Regardless of what choices you make, the endings will always somehow end up like shit, and even the good ones have a catch behind them.
I suppose I have been trained to analyse situations more systematically, and my conclusion is: I have to go through a double T-junction now, and whichever road I take leads to more complicated networks of infrastructure. Now you can hardly blame me for running away. Heh must thank the Counsellor and Tang for their advice though.
During the trip, I got to know about the sorry plight of a particular soul. Don't fret, for I have just the song for you. I have no idea how deep you have fallen into your own hell hole but seriously, GET OVER IT ALREADY. Be a man, do the right thing. :)
