Heavy Heart.
It is moments such as these when you have so much to say; yet unsure of how to put things across. Perhaps it is the fear of being unable to express yourself appropriately, and the probability of being misunderstood.
Just so you know, I don't like conflicts. Therefore, I try to avoid it as much as possible unless otherwise.
I am not trying to imply anything here; all I ask for is merely a little understanding. If such a simple thing cannot be obtained, then what more is there left to say? Relationships are about giving and taking. It may appear to you that you have been giving while we have been taking, which is pretty one-sided. Have you thought about it from the perspective of others?
Let me give you a simple example.
Have I ever asked you to go out of your way to do something? Hardly. Don't mistake me as being "aloof". It is because I don't want to cause unnecessary trouble and hassle. I don't want to appear petty by mentioning the numerous occasions where I have done something I don't exactly want to just to keep someone company, because I feel that spending time with that someone is more important that the activity itself. Now, tell me is it fair to call me "self-centered"?
Don't judge me based on the times that I have supposedly failed you. Circumstances may not favour people on all occasions, and you certainly cannot expect people to give in to your requests every time. Wouldn't that be unreasonable? We are not robots that are at your constant beck and call. We are individuals that have lives, moods and obligations to others. The choices we make, the actions we take, have to be juggled against many factors and not just you alone.
